The Prodigal Sun

“How sweet the morning air is! See how that one little cloud floats like a pink feather from some gigantic flamingo. Now the red rim of the sun pushes itself over the London cloud-bank. It shines on a good many folk, but on none, I dare bet, who are on a stranger errand than you and I. How small we feel with our petty ambitions and strivings in the presence of the great elemental forces of Nature!”
― Arthur Conan Doyle

There's never one sunrise the same or one sunset the same.

There’s never one sunrise the same or one sunset the same.

Sunrise/ Sunset- probably the two moments of the day when each of us would love staring at the sky! A beach might be an amazing place to experience the sunsets, but take it from me the dawn and dusk is best felt from up the mountains. The Himalayas provide the ultimate setting to just feel those nippy winds as the dawn creeps in and the fervour of warm sunlight as the suns peeps between the towering peaks.

“What breaks in daybreak? Is it the night? Is it the sun, cracked in two by the horizon like an egg, spilling out light?” ― Margaret Atwood
